I'm Ansaff — a London-based photographer drawn to landscapes that feel a little bigger than the people in them.
My work leans cinematic: deep shadows, cold blues against warm rock, a small figure for scale. A lot of it comes from places you have to walk into — ice caves, coastlines, the quiet edges of the highlands — where the light does something you can't plan for.
By day I work as a geotechnical engineer, which is probably why I keep pointing the camera at rock and ice. The two sides talk to each other more than you'd think: both are about reading a landscape and noticing what's holding it up.
The kit, briefly
I shoot, edit in Lightroom, and try to keep the processing honest to what the place actually felt like. If you want to know more about a specific shot, the blog is where I write that down.
